Recognizes any card, instantly

Point your camera at a card — even sleeved, straight from your hand — and Kura reads it in any language, then auto-detects the set and printing (Phyrexian and Dwarvish included).

Private by design

Recognition runs 100% on your device, and everything works offline once the card database is downloaded. No account, no ads, no tracking.

Your collection, organized

Cards live in searchable digital boxes. Match decklists against what you own for instant wants-lists. Export everything anytime, no cap.
Your Digital Collection

Know what you own.

  • Your collection at a glance

The home dashboard turns your collection into numbers you can read — total value, recent scans, and the most valuable cards you own.

  • Hidden value in every box

Storage, deck box, or binder — every card lives in one place. Sort a box by market price and the gems hiding between the commons jump right out.

  • Insights that spark ideas

Break your collection down by color, type, and rarity, and watch each set inch toward completion. While you build, EDHREC recommendations suggest cards that fit the deck.

Features

Built for how collectors actually work

From the first scan to a fully matched decklist — Kura covers the whole workflow of owning physical Magic cards.

Scan

Camera Scan & Auto Mode

Recognizes edition, foil, and language, even through a sleeve. Auto mode fires and confirms sure matches on its own — you just keep presenting cards.

Straight Into a Box

Pick the box or deck a session should land in and every recognized card goes there, with a running counter of what you've added. Switch the target mid-session without leaving the camera.

Only What's Missing

Re-scanning a box you've already recorded? This mode skips every card the box already holds and stops only on the ones it doesn't. If a copy turns up in another box, Kura offers to move it there instead of adding a duplicate.

Correct in a Tap

Wrong printing or foil? One tap opens the alternatives — and lets you set condition and the box a card goes to — without breaking your scanning rhythm.

Private & Offline

No photo ever leaves your phone — recognition runs against the card database stored on your device, so scanning works in a basement, at a tournament, or on a plane.
Organize

Collection & Boxes

Every card lives in exactly one box, just like on your shelf — tracked per copy with set, language, foil, and condition. What you paid sits next to what it's worth today, with Scryfall reference prices from Cardmarket (EUR) or TCGplayer (USD).

Sealed Products

Packs, displays, bundles, precons, and Secret Lairs — tracked separately from your singles, with catalog search, a photo, an editable value, and marketplace links.

Sales Tracking

Mark a card as sold and it moves to the sales archive — grouped by month, with revenue, cost, and profit down to each card. Sold cards stay there to view and edit, and stop counting against your card limit.

Search, Filter & Sort

Type a name, use Scryfall-style syntax (set:, c:, cmc>=2, artist:"…"), or just say it in plain words — "all red cards by John Avon from 8th Edition". Everything is parsed on your device, and filters appear as removable chips. Plain-language search needs Apple Intelligence on iOS 26.
Match & Move

Decks & Matching

Import decklists from Moxfield, Archidekt, Deckstats, MTGGoldfish, TappedOut, and more. See what's missing or over-committed across every deck, export an auto-generated wants-list, and tune with the mana curve and EDHREC suggestions in view. Link a deck to a box and the physical side comes with it — whether those cards are actually sitting there or borrowed for another deck.

Limited Deckbuilding

Scan a draft or sealed pool into a box and build straight from it. The pool starts in your sideboard; swipe cards in and out while a live bar tracks the mana curve, spells, lands, and creatures.

Import & Export

Smart CSV import with automatic field-mapping reads ManaBox exports and a wide variety of other formats, plus a full, lossless export anytime — every card, box, and price, no cap, no account, no gate.

iCloud Sync & Backup

Your collection, boxes, and decks sync across your own devices via iCloud, plus rotating backup snapshots you can restore anytime.
Pricing

The free plan is here to stay

Kura's free plan covers the whole workflow — scanning, decklist matching, sales tracking, import & export, and iCloud sync — with limits on how many cards, boxes, decks, sealed products, and sold cards you keep. During the beta, everyone is on the free plan.

After the beta, an optional Pro subscription will lift those limits for large collections — unlimited cards, boxes, decks, sealed products, and sold cards. The free plan isn't going anywhere, and you never lose what you've built: Pro only ever adds. Final pricing will be shown in the App Store.

FAQ

Questions collectors ask

Do I need any special setup or equipment?

No — scan anywhere, straight from your hand, even through sleeves. A plain, single-color surface underneath can help Kura pick up card edges a bit faster, but it's entirely optional.

Which languages and printings does it recognize?

Every language in the Scryfall database — including Phyrexian and Dwarvish. Kura auto-detects the set and printing, and often detects foil cards.

Where do the card prices come from?

From Scryfall's reference prices — Cardmarket trend in EUR or TCGplayer in USD. The price is saved when you scan a card and can be refreshed anytime.

Do I need an account?

No. Kura has no accounts and no server. Your collection lives on your device, and syncing across your own devices happens through your personal iCloud.

Does it work offline?

Fully. Once the card database is on your device, recognition, search, and matching work with no connection at all.

Can I get my data out?

Always. Full, lossless CSV export of every card, box, and price — no cap, no Pro-gate.

What if I delete something by accident?

Deleted cards sit in a trash for 30 days before they're gone for good — restore them with a tap. On top of that, rotating iCloud backups cover your whole collection.

Will it stay free?

Yes — the free plan stays, and everything you build in Kura stays yours. A Pro subscription will arrive later for large collections (unlimited cards, boxes, decks, sealed products, and sold cards); it only adds to the free plan and never takes anything away. Pro is simply what keeps the project alive and development moving.
